  I live 1.5 hr drive from the dealership. I received a service recall card in the mail and made an appointment to bring in my vehicle. When I made my appointment over the phone I could tell the service advisor was annoyed to book me in as it's just another recall notice/time waste for them as they probably don't make commission on recalls (idk but I'm assuming). So, I proceed to tell the SA that I live 1.5 hrs away and will they have all the parts in BC last time I came in they didn't have the parts and I made a special trip in etc. "Yup" was the reply I got so I left it at that and hung up.

  Was just passing through when my truck had an emissions warning and it was very urgent. The service staff was very friendly and willing to get me in as soon as they could. The technician and mechanics had my truck running like new the next day. I had an unbelievable experience and would 110% recommend this business.

  So today I get there the SA starts typing away and then says "Let me just check to see if these recalls have already been performed BC lots of customers have been receiving notice cards even though the recalls have already been done. Oh, yeah, these recalls have already been performed. You don't have anymore recalls on your vehicle." "Are you kidding me?!" I said. I left. I was fuming. I could have torn into the SA and caused a scene but, for what? It wouldn't change anything. I was so ticked that this wasn't checked when I booked my appointment in the first place.

  I just want others to learn from me and be more through when booking recalls. They are obviously to busy to look up your vehicle over the phone. The SA was run ragged as they were the only staff member on duty. And, yes I should have kept previous paperwork but I didn't. Not everyone does and this is for them
